Organizations Arnika from Prague (Czech Republic) and Eco forum Zenica jointly implement the project "The right to a healthy environment: Aarhus Centre in Zenica-Doboj Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the transfer of experience from the Czech Republic". In these web pages we will publish information about the project and the activities of the Centre.

One of the results of our project is newsletter, "The right to a healthy environment", which we printed with the support of the program "Transition" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The newsletter can be obtained in our office, in Metalurg City Center (Školska 10, Zenica) or you can download the electronic version of the first 6 issues.

Soon we intend to present the informative DVD about ecological activism in BiH, and the Independent report on the implementation of the Aarhus Convention in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We hope that the information on this portal will help citizens of Zenica, Zenica-Doboj Canton, and beyond, to be better informed, in order to improve the state of the environment and human rights, and to strengthen civil society in Bosnia and Herzegovina through involvement in decision-making related to the environment and through the promotion of local development.
